TEX HOMME Spring Summer 2020 Collection

The TEX HOMME Spring Summer 2020 collection designed by Clerici Tessuto follows the theme of a cutting edge research on textures, prints and finishes resulting into two main themes, one with a focus on daytime and based on pure matter and one more ethereal and nocturnal.

The first theme is about the effects of printing on light-weight materials for contrasting effects between the touch feel and the prints recalling classic fabrics of masculine tailoring. Cotton jersey, light and versatile looks fancy in printed checks, tweed and Prince of Wales. The proposal develops on the structure and texture: chevron, matelassé with a Houndstooth effect and a rustic barré in large stripes with a colonial feel to it.

The second and main theme springs from pure research, which is spread over different levels and aims to top the TEX HOMME proposal. The inspiration comes from the world of music and street style, a skate park and the star as decorative signs and graphic decoration.

Different gradients of transparency on cut squares from opaque to shiny black. Evening attire: the floral Brocade jacquard is illuminated with lurex yarns while shiny and multicolored polka dots break the full and saturated black cotton.

A sablè polyester fabric proposed in vitaminic hues is aimed to craft shiny transparent trench coats. The same material is worked with fil coupè fluo stars, working as a transparent and sporty base. The star decoration created as jacquard, cut through and applied works as leitmotif of the collection.
